We meet at the Douglas Arms Hotel in Castle Douglas 10.30 - noon and all are welcome - we now have two distinguished men on our planning group who have had a good input in the choice of speakers so men too are particularly welcome!

 

Christian Viewpoint Meeting Thursday 10th May.

Held as usual at the Douglas Arms Hotel 10.30 for 11.00 and finishing at noon.   This time Mike Smith, the Pastor of the New Life Church in Castle spoke with his wife Debbie.  They talked about how God's hand had been on their shoulders during their lives.    It was illuminating to hear them both speak as they have very different characters, come from different backgrounds and our Lord speaks to them and leads them in different ways.   It was exciting and uplifting to hear their personal testimonies.  The Christian Viewpoint team were very grateful to them for sharing and giving us a really aappreciated time.   Several of us all continued to talk, laugh and get to know each other over lunch at the Hotel afterwards.
