Harvest Supper

Corsock Guild held their annual Harvest Supper in Corsock Village Hall on Friday 30th September. Betty Watson welcomed a company of 54.  After an appropriate harvest thanksgiving grace, said by John Moorhouse, a three-course meal consisting of lentil soup, pork casserole and sherry trifle was served.

The Harvest Supper was the first function to be held in the newly refurbished village hall.

The guests enjoyed dining in the pleasant surroundings of the newly painted and well insulated building.  Over £400 was raised by the event which will be used for Guild funds and the National Guild Projects.
